Aervia is proving that private jet travel can be elegant, accessible, and genuinely sustainable.
Instead of being part of the problem, Aervia actively works to be part of the solution. We aim to be the largest consumer of synthetic fuels in Europe and beyond. Here is how we do it.
For every kg of conventional jet fuel our fleet consumes, Aervia purchases an equal volume of Synthetic Jet fuel (yes - fuels produced directly from CO2 and green electricity). By guaranteeing demand at scale, we directly fund the production of sustainable fuel and help the industry build the capacity needed to replace fossil kerosene.
The synthetic fuel we purchase is physically delivered to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, where it enters the shared fuel system and is blended with conventional Jet-A1. This means our investment directly increases the proportion of sustainable fuel flowing through one of Europe's busiest aviation hubs — benefitting the entire industry.
On top of our full synthetic fuel purchase, Aervia acquires an additional 10% in EU Emissions Trading System (EU-ETS) carbon credits. This extra margin specifically offsets the warming effect of contrails — the condensation trails that contribute to aviation's non-CO₂ climate impact. No detail overlooked.
The aviation industry cannot wait for synthetic fuel to become cheap before it starts buying. Production will only scale when there is guaranteed demand. That's why Aervia commits to purchasing 100% of its fuel consumption as synthetic fuel — today, not tomorrow.
As a major purchaser of synthetic aviation fuel, Aervia sends a clear market signal: invest in production capacity, and we will buy. This is how we accelerate the transition — not through promises, but through purchase orders.
Every Aervia flight funds the future of clean aviation. Our passengers don't just fly sustainably — they drive the change.
Join the movement that proves luxury and sustainability belong together.
